I wanted to capture light. But light alone cannot be my subject. It's impossible. I appreciate light in the ascending gradients of dawn or by the subject it illuminates. I appreciate it when things obstruct the image and light creeps in crevices as if it's moving.










These rooftops reminded me of the painted ladies in San Francisco. I miss California.
